It was a very sweet play, and I really cared for the characters. It's basically a two-man show with other incidental people thrown in on a regular basis. The set is very basic and there are very few props. Even though it's a one-act, I didn't feel short-changed at all.
I too really liked the play. Very basic feel-good play and moves along very well. Even though it is done in one act it is definitely long enough.
I enjoyed the play. I am not bothered by it being a one act. Many of the shows I see these days do not have an intermission.
This was a very lovely script. It would be interesting for us as a largely white organization to produce a script that means to evoke a black experience in a largely white space, but it isn't "about" that in a way that is preachy or inauthentic for us to produce.
I enjoyed this script very much. The characters and story were engaging, and I could see it done very easily in the arena.
I really liked the play. It's very sweet and gentle in a way that is much needed in a world that can sometimes be harsh.
