The gay family might have been quite shocking when the play was written. It is much less an issue today. The imaginary children didn't work for me. I was especially bothered by the killing of the children. Even while imaginary, I think it will be very bothersome to many.
No for me.
Well, that was weird. Although the dialogue was entertaining, the storyline was not. I found it offensive. It would not sell. No for me.
Yeah....well written, but no. Skirts with weird, almost pedophilic fantasy. I think it would have some really funny physical comedy, but don't think it is the time or place to do this play.
What the What? I knew early on it was not a contender, but I also knew I had to finish reading it. I say No for producing (or keeping it in the mix), but I am fascinated and really need to try and see a production if it gets produced locally.
there are better Paula Vogel plays if we want to see out another of her works - but no to this one.
Oh dear . . . what was Paula thinking? Nope for me.
