The play is OK, but it's not my choice to be included in this first season back from pandemic. I also don't think it would resonate with our audience. Maybe if you lived in Chicago!

It is a great vehicle for two actors. Provides nice challenges for designers and a director. It is contemporary.

While a Chicago theater has the home team advantage, the play is about growing old, functioning after having a stroke, and caregivers.

My vote is Yes.

My thoughts the first time I read it:
interesting idea to have 2 actors play all the roles; clumsy storytelling in act 1; written in the 21st century, takes place in the 21st century; I liked it.

My vote is Yes.

I find it interesting that the plays we read tend to fall into a theme. This time around the plays use scripts, movies, or theater to show family interplay.

I actually found this little script quite charming. I don’t think the baseball theme hampers it at all. After all, Minnesota does have a pro baseball team and Chicago is in our geographical area. The play isn’t really about baseball. I was a bit concerned about the gender reversal idea with actors playing multiple roles but after reading some online reviews it appears to work, as long as the two actors are talented. Artistry did a local production two years ago. I could see it done well at TRP.

I couldn't get excited by it. It might interest actors, but unless extremely well done could be a long evening.
