I really liked this. David Lindsay-Abaire has such a knack at creating very believable characters. The story is funny and touching. Yes for me!
I like it, but have concerns about staging .... sky diving, "hanging" from a door, etc.
I was not impressed. A No
I like that the play centers on Marilyn and Abby and all the characters are well developed. The play looks at being in a senior facility, rooming with a stranger, estranged family, alcoholism, domestic physical violence, and caring children.
There are potential though not insurmountable problems of sky diving and someone 'hanging' on a door.
My vote is Yes.
I loved it. I think our audience will love it. My vote is a big YES!
I enjoyed this one, although I think it may have a somewhat narrow niche audience, in the same way "In the Restroom at Rosenbloom's" did. I say keep it in the mix.
A no from me. Contrived. Stu
