Like it a lot. Creepy!
Positives: Single set, continuous action, easy to costume and prop (assuming we still have the sword cane from J&H). Nice thriller, interesting characters. Known title that people have probably never seen. I could cast this in about two minutes.
Negatives: gets a bit talky at points, discussing outdated bookish and movie stuff.
Overall, yes, I think it would be a good show for TRP.

I agree with everything Dwight and Czar said. A yes from me. I'm sure we can find a director who can speed up the talky sections.
It was a little slow. I liked the stage directions the best! I can see seasoned TRP actors playing the parts. It would work well in the arena. I was a bit disappointed in the ending, however. I'm a lukewarm yes.
I found it talky with a lot of references to authors and movie stars many are not likely to know. It didn't do much for me. We should be able to do better. No for me.
This is one of those delicious plays that is all about the characters. Yes it is talky, but that's not all that happens in the play. It is all about the suspense. The dialogue is simply a thin shell that surrounds the real action - the subtext. The people talk while the audience squirms, watching every movement and looking for signs that suspicion will finally fall on one or the other guilty party. What the characters say it isn't nearly as important as how the characters are developed and how they interact with one another. This is not one of those plays that will play well no matter who plays the roles. There are a lot of very forgiving plays out there, that will play well because the lines alone are funny, but this is not one of them. Only very talented actors and a very talented director will provide the pay-off. Time and again I see shows that are riveting because the acting is so outrageously good. I would love to see this script done and I think it would work wonderfully in the arena.
One set, agreed that is a positive. While there is suspense I found it got boring. Don't know how many potential audience members have heard of this play. I'm willing to consider this could move along and as Kristen purports "provide the pay-off", so I'll vote okay.
As requested, looked at this play again, Dec. 2018. My reaction is the same - has suspense and creepiness; my vote remains Okay.
