Love it. How clever, sophisticated, delightful and naughty. Janice did this at Park Square and has wanted to repeat it with us for years. Why have we let it slip through the cracks. YES
I liked it too. I found it to be pretty darn funny and oddly timeless.
I like Maugham's writing very much. I remember being delighted with the Guthrie's production years ago - and I was fearful that it would be creaky and awful -but it was bright and witty - we need strong comedic directing to keep it moving without losing the sophistication - it cannot be a farce. I would take this over Charley's Aunt if we had to rid ourselves of too many British comedies :)
Easily doable in the arena. A perfectly acceptable drawing room comedy, if you like that kind of thing. Does this still sell?

I love this show. I saw Park Square's show and adored it. I agree - it is not a farce. It screams TRP! Yes from me.
I like it. I have liked previous productions. I think it would do well at TRP. Yes.
Held my interest, amusing and well written dialogue. Interesting how we find plays with similar themes. Question - this one instead of The Women?
My vote is Yes for Constant Wife.
This is an easy "yes." Remember Guthrie and Park Square productions being highly enjoyable. Could work in the arena.
in the right hands, this is a delightful play that doesn't have to be creaky - but it is again another British comedy which we never have trouble finding - however, it is one of the best of the lot.
I like this way better than Jeeves. It is very progressive for its day. A lot of the things that make it shocking or funny don't land the same way in 2023. It would need to be a specifically period piece for a lot of things to land.
